
Last week we had our National Honor Society Tapping Ceremony, led by NHS advisor, Mrs. Rummel, during which our current members did the tapping of the upcoming potential new members, to be officially inducted in the Spring. 👏
These students have displayed characteristics of the four pillars of NHS, which include: character, leadership, scholarship and service. 👏

We were so glad to have Gabrielle Lozoya, a Sebring graduate of 2019, join us for our Alumni Speaker series at McKinley. Gabrielle has a degree in criminal justice from Mount Union and is currently employed as an operational/client service associate at Hunter Associates in Salem. She currently resides here in Sebring.

What We're Learning: Third grade enjoyed a special visit from Mr. Bernard, Museum Educator at the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, to learn about Native American history right here in the Mahoning Valley. Check it out!

We're continuing our Alumni Speaker Series at McKinley, and this year we've decided to do faculty-led interviews.
Earlier this month we were so grateful to have 2004 graduate, Drew Diver, who took the time to visit us while he was in town. Drew currently lives in Sweden and works as a platform engineer. He has a bachelor of science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. Special thanks to Mrs. Segretario for leading the interview.
Thanks for your time and inspiration, Drew! We love seeing our former students succeed and we appreciate them sharing their journey with us.
