Eighteen 7th-8th graders attended Youngstown State University's 46th English Festival last week. Students read seven YSU assigned books before their trip, then attended various sessions throughout the day, including visits with two of the authors of three of the books they read, Jasmine Warga and Jeff Zentner! They also enjoyed playing writing games, drafting impromptu essays and poetry, and even saw "Jungle Terry" in honor of Zentner's book, "Serpent King." 📚🖊
