Faculty Friday: Shining the light on our high school social studies teachers! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insight of our world's history to encourage our students to be informed and engaged citizens for years to come!
McKinley Drama Club presented Disney's High School Musical Jr. for our whole district this morning and had everyone from K-12 singing along in their seats! What a fun way to preview this weekend's performances!
Our cast and crew have been working hard to bring this production to our community, so you don't want to miss out! Call to purchase your tickets for this Friday or Saturday: $8 for students and senior citizens; $10 for adults; veterans are free.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show will start at 7:30 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., guests can come before the doors open to learn simple choreography if they’d like to be a part of an interactive performance, “We’re all in this together,” during the short intermission.
Special shout-out to Mrs. Rummel for directing the production, Mr. Hughes as assistant director, and Mrs. Mowery for leading choreography!
We'll see you there!
We’re so grateful to have had a family of Sebring alumni share their powerful testimony with our students as part of our most recent Alumni Speaker Series.
Siblings Zac Crewson, class of 2011, and Ali Crewson, 2016, as well as their father, Bob, class of 1982, lost two of their family members to suicide in recent years. They lost their brother/son, Jake, a Sebring graduate of 2015 and a veteran, as well as their mother, Jen.
They’re speaking out about mental health with their message, “Resilience. Turning Adversity into Opportunity.”
Zac is also participating in Mission 22’s 48-mile Ruck Challenge in honor of his brother, and has added on to make it 52-miles for his mom, too. Mission 22 is a non-profit dedicated to providing support to Veterans and their families.
Zac’s wife Taylor, another Sebring grad, and their two daughters were also on the panel.
THANK YOU to the Crewson family for taking the time to share their courageous story with us. Your strength is admirable and an inspiration to all.
What We're Learning: We'd like to extend a major THANK-YOU to everyone who contributed financially, or through sharing our fundraising project to purchase ukuleles for Mrs. Mansfield's 4th-6th-graders! They're so excited to begin learning to play!
Faculty Friday: Shining the spotlight on our SRO, Officer Melendez! Thank you for ALL that you do to keep us safe and the strong support and mentorship you provide for all of our students!
Come out and support our Drama Club next Friday and Saturday as they present Disney's High School Musical!
Tickets are available in the high school office now until the day of the show.
$8 for students and senior citizens and $10 for adults. Veterans are free.
You don't want to miss this performance!
What We're Learning: Students in Mrs. Cooper's Financial Literacy class had fun with this hands-on activity to introduce the concept of building "human capital."
Congratulations to our 2024 NHS inductees! We had a wonderful evening recognizing and celebrating this EXTRAordinary group!
NHS is led by advisor Mrs. Rummel and current members include Johnathan Billingsley, Emma Seevers and Blake Thomas.
We look forward to honoring our 2024 inductees at tonight's NHS Ceremony at 6PM in McKinley Auditorium.
These students have displayed characteristics of the four pillars of NHS, which include: character, leadership, scholarship and service. Congratulations, and keep up the great work, Trojans!
Have you called to schedule your child's kindergarten screening appointment yet? We're just two weeks away! Please share the word!
We look forward to meeting and welcoming our next class of Trojans!

WOW! We had a GLOW-TASTIC time last Friday at our Family STEM/Math Glow Night! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to join the fun, as well as all the helping hands who made it possible!
A special thanks goes out to our family engagement coordinator and event lead, Jill Dennis! Thank you for all that you do to make events like this possible! Another shout-out to OH WOW! for all of their efforts and supplying the STEM Sak bundles, as well as our wonderful Success After 6 partners, P.I.E. and our Sebring students and staff for dedicating their time and services!
We're already looking forward to next year's event! 🌟
Our Sebring Trojans Family has recently experienced two major losses and we're grieving together as a school family and community.
Tom Burkett, our district technology coordinator, suddenly passed away this weekend. We extend our deepest sympathies to the Burkett family and friends and will wrap them in thoughts and prayers as we grieve together.
Belinda Aberegg, B.L. Miller custodian, lost her battle to cancer earlier this year. Our continued prayers and support belong to the Aberegg family as we continue to mourn together.
Both are missed greatly, and will remain in our hearts and memories.
We hope to see you tonight for glow-in-the-dark family fun!
Congratulations to 2008 Sebring graduate Dr. Tyler Jones on this well-deserved honor! Setting the example that Trojans do EXTRAordinary things!

✨Faculty Friday: Spotlighting our McKinley math teachers, who add value to our students' education, subtract confusion, multiply comprehension, and divide problems into manageable parts! We appreciate you!
What We're Learning: Our 6th grade student senate, led by Mrs. Naples, have their hands involved in a wide variety of roles at B.L. Miller and they deserve a spotlight for their tremendous efforts! Check out some of the ways they're leading our building and providing great resources and services!
