Congratulations to 8th-grader, Aubrielle Lacher, who received an award from the Youngstown and Mahoning County Public Library for 1st place in the Blackout Poetry Contest. The library received around 500 entries and Aubrey's artwork put her poem at the top. She was awarded with a trophy that was custom-made with her artwork displayed on it. SENIORS, YOU DID IT! Enjoy every minute of your last day of your high school career! We can't wait to share some of the highlights of the fun stuff planned for today.

Mrs. Lee's 11th-grade Government classes participated in a Civic Action Fair recently. The civic action project is a culmination of students’ social studies education, a chance for them to apply what they have learned to the real world and choose an issue that matters to them. Students in grades 7-12 were invited to view the projects, and rate how well they thought the students executed their plans.

What We're Learning: Featuring Mrs. Kandel's 8th-graders who recently presented on how authors portray courage through their poetry! They delivered some excellent presentations!
