Sebring McKinley National Honor Society Welcomes Four New Members

Sebring McKinley National Honor Society (NHS) swore in its 2025 NHS inductees at the group’s annual induction ceremony on Monday, March 10, 2025.

The new group of four inductees is represented by one senior and three juniors, including the following students:

Senior:
Jay Zheng

Juniors:
Alayna Braham, Nikki Freet, and Emily Wright

The eight current members that welcomed the inductees are: Allison Hoschar, Katelyn Leeland, Michael Moyer, Abagail Stuller, Isabella Threet, Myla Thomas, Angelo Vecchio, and Kiera Weekly.

To qualify for NHS, students must meet certain academic criteria and display characteristics of the four pillars of NHS, which include: character, leadership, scholarship and service. They must also write an essay regarding the organization's pillars and what it means to them, to be considered for membership.

The group is led by advisor Nicole Rummel, a teacher at Sebring McKinley.

Principal Brian Clark swore in the new group of students.
