Sebring, OH (January 6, 2025) – Sebring Local Schools recently voted Melinda Vecchio as President and JoAnn Jones as Vice President of the district’s school board.

This appointment comes during School Board Appreciation Month, as the district honors their dedicated board members for their commitment to the success of the school and its students. 

“Our board members work diligently behind the scenes to ensure a positive and productive learning environment,’ said Sebring Local Schools Superintendent Toni Viscounte. “They provide resources and make critical decisions that influence the day-to-day operations of our schools. We are deeply grateful for their tireless efforts and the countless hours they dedicate to making our schools a better place. Their leadership and unwavering support inspire us all to strive for excellence.”

Vecchio, who has served on the board for seven years, and Jones, who has served for seven and a half years, will continue to lead the district’s board in supporting educational excellence.

Other board members include Debra Green (serving for seven and a half years), Scott Latham (nearly seven years) and Tammy Eckert (one year).
