(Sebring, OH) April 16, 2024 – On the heels of the solar eclipse, last Thursday, more than 200 Sebring students and families continued to explore their curiosity of space through an out-of-this-world event, touring an inflatable planetarium at B.L. Miller Elementary gymnasium.

Presented by Mobile Ed Productions, attendees journeyed through the universe during 45-minute guided tours. The event was sponsored by United Way’s Success After Six program.

“We’re really grateful for all the hands that went into making this event a wonderful experience for all involved,” says Jill Dennis, family engagement coordinator for Sebring Local Schools and Success After 6 coordinator. “Our students and their families had a fun time exploring our sun, moon, stars and universe – from the comfort of our gym.”

Sebring’s Partners In Education (P.I.E.) was a partner of the event, providing food for purchase, and funds raised go toward future activities and events for Sebring students.

Families also played bingo in between tour sessions, and winners received Oh WOW! STEM Sak bundles.

One student took home a grand prize National Geographic 70m Sky View Telescope, provided by SA6.
